God is able to accomplish, provide, help, save, keep, subdue…
He is able to do what we can’t. He already has a plan. God is not bewildered. Go to Him daily.
‘Before they call, I will answer.’
“For I know the plans I have for you.” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.
For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Is your problem too great?
God is able to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance.
Is your temptation too severe?
God is able to help us when we are being tested.
Are your sins too numerous?
He is able once and forever, to save those who come to God through Him.
Is your future too frightening?
God is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.
Is your enemy too strong?
God is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
…..”One aspect of the fruit of the Spirit, remember, is longsuffering, also translated as patience. We need to be able to “suffer long” with the slights and petty offenses that come our way in daily living. That’s part of what it means to live the Christian life as a fallen person in a fallen world. Paul writes in the second chapter of Ephesians that we are to bear with one another in love, and why are we to do that? Because love covers a multitude of sins.”
